WHAT IS MICRO ALGAE OIL?
The micro algae oil is produced from a strain of Schizochytrium sp., which synthesises the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, naturally. The origin of EPA/DHA in aquatic ecosystems is derived from algae. Via our water extraction process, it is cultured free of environmental exposures in pure water, in quality controlled indoor tanks. Our golden oil is cultured without exposure to marine organisms or environments, and is grown pure without any contaminants.

WHY DO WE NEED OMEGA-3 DHA?
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a long chain polyunsaturated fatty acid Omega-3, and a building block of cell membranes in human nerves, brain tissue, eyes, and skin. DHA offers the most direct source of Omega-3 as it comprises over 90% of the Omega-3 fatty acids in your brain and up to 25% of its total lipid content. While it can be synthesised from alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a plant-based Omega-3 fatty acid, this process is very inefficient.
WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE FOUND IN THE SOFT GELS?
Soft Gels:
The ingredients for the Soft Gel casing are: Corn starch (non-GMO/gluten free), carrageenan (from edible seaweed),
vegetable glycerine, purified water.
The carrageenan in our soft gel casing is extracted from Irish Moss, a red edible seaweed. It is a safe, food grade carrageenan that is non-toxic and not carcinogenic.
